Ho recuperato un HD che è bloccato,per poter accedere devo mettere una password che non conosco,questo succedeva con un pc con Xp,mentre se provo con Windows 8.1,in entrambi le prove era collegato tramite usb,se vado in Gestione Disco mi dice che lo devo inizializzare,ma compare questo messaggio

impossibile esguire la richiesta a causa di un errore di dispositivo I/0

ho provato sia in MBR che GPT.
L'HD è un Samsung modello HM250HI.
Ce il modo di recuperarlo?

Se non ti interessano i dati al suo interno puoi provare a formattarlo a basso livello

Ma questa password per accedere quando ti viene richiesta e in che formato si presenta (puoi postare uno screenshot della domanda?).

Mi dispiace,,ma come ho scritto in precedenza la password la chiedeva con Xp,con Windows 8.1mi dice che l hd e da inizializzare ,ma quando tento di eseguire la procedura,mi compare il messaggio.
La password non saprei dirti che tipo fosse,chiedeva solo di immetterla.

Riesci a collegarlo direttamente all'interno del pc, senza usare l'usb?

Ho provato a collegarlo direttamente dentro al pc,ho avviato il programma che mi hai consigliato,ma non ho risolto,alla fine come report mi esce questo.

Dal report direi che è passato a miglior vita quel disco.
Se proprio vuoi fare un ultimo tentativo, scarica un live cd linux con gparted all'interno, lascia nel pc solo quel disco fisso, fai il boot dal live cd e prova a formattarlo.
Se anche con quello non ci riesci, allora non puoi fare altro che buttarlo.

Ho provato direttamente con Gparted,ma non riesco neanche ad arrivare al bios per scegliere il boot,mi compare il simbolo di un lucchetto

una speranza forse c'è, come dice crazy ci vuole il modello di computer ma anche il produttore del BIOS. Se inserisci (tre volte se non sbaglio) una password, per caso compare un codice di errore alfanumerico a schermo?

No,infatti prima l'avevo collegato tramite Usb,per formattarlo a basso livello,ma non lo vedeva,l'ho collegato internamente dentro al mio,ed è uscito tutto quel prologo da dove hai dedotto che è passato a miglior vita.

Il computer è un fisso,ma per provare con Gparted ho usato un portatile,con una versione di Gparted.

ma con questo sistema resetto il bios,ma il bios non è sulla scheda madre,il problema l'ha l'HD,scusate se ho detto una c......a,comunque appena riesco provo.

Invece il BIOS si trova proprio sulla scheda madre, il lucchetto che compare a schermo lo hai anche quando il disco non è collegato?
Comunque alcuni hard disk permettono di impostare una password che viene memorizzata nella loro ROM ma non ho mai dovuto forzarne una.

Dice che il disco non viene rilevato e che forse perché il controller è impostato in modalità RAID. È una impostazione che va modificata da BIOS.
