Codec video per Google Chrome

In questi giorni si fa un gran parlare della ricezione di programmi televisivi attraverso la rete internet. Ho provato a vedere i canali mediaset in streaming attraverso il sito ufficiale, utilizzando Chrome. Dopo qualche minuto di visualizzazione l'immagine scompare e al suo posto esce una videata nera con al centro una "x" e una frase in basso in lingua inglese che rècita: "the video could not be loaded, eighter because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported". Se aggiorno la pagina la visualizzazione torna normale, ma sempre per pochissimo. Se apro il medesimo sito con IE il problema non si presenta. Considerato che la cosa si verifica anche sul portatile e che la versione del Chrome viene regolarmente aggiornata, c'è qualche codec specifico da scaricare per il browser? Grazie.

avevo anche io lo stesso problema tempo fa
ho risolto semplicemnet scaricando VIVALDI BROWSER.
Una vera chicca che in italia ( strano... ) non prende ancorqa tanto piede..
altrimenti prova cosi'

1.Click the Windows Start button and select "Control Panel." Double-click the "Administrative Tasks" icon in the Control Panel. Double-click the "Internet Information Services (IIS)" icon to open the IIS console.
2.Right-click the "Default Web Site" icon on the right side of the window pane. Select "Properties" from the list of menu items. This opens a configuration window for the website.
3.Click the "HTTP Headers" tab in the configuration window. In the "MIME Type" section, click the "New Type" button to create a new MIME type.
4.Type the file extension in the "Extension" text box. Enter the content type in the labeled text box underneath. For instance, if you are setting an MP4 MIME type, enter ".mp4" into the extension text box and "video/mp4" into the content type.
5.Press the "Ok" button. This closes the properties window. You now have a MIME type set in IIS for the defined file extension.
